Irish players were in ecstatic mood following Monday night's win against Bosnia.
It was an outstanding performance, notable for the almost complete lack of anxiety which it created, certainly not what we have come to expect of Ireland in such situations. Nervy, nail bitten to the cuticle games are the norm, not comfortable 2-0 wins which secure places at international tournaments.
