Republic of Ireland U21 goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will make his debut for Liverpool in tonight’s Carabao Cup clash with MK Dons on a big night for several Irish players.

Liverpool's clash at Stadium MK is live on Sky Sports. With Alisson Becker injured and Adrian rested, Kelleher has been handed his competitive debut by Jurgen Klopp.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth's Irish teen duo Mark Travers and Gavin Kilkenny will start against Burton Albion.

Irish U21 striker Aaron Connolly will continue his rise at Premier League club Brighton as he starts alongside Shane Duffy against Aston Villa. It comes just days after he made his competitive debut and nearly scored against Newcastle.

Former Bohemians man Warren O'Hara makes the bench, while Conor Hourihane will line out for Dean Smith's side.

In the Reading versus Wolves tie at Molineux Stadium, Ireland U21 Josh Barrett will take on senior international Matt Doherty.

Another Irish U21 star, Conor Coventry, could be set for first-team action tonight with West Ham as they take on Oxford United. He has been named on the bench by Manuel Pellegrini. The 19-year-old is highly rated within the Premier League club and was named West Ham United U23s captain last summer.
