When it comes to Robotic soccer, there is no doubting the influence Trapattoni has had on the game. Good industry in midfield but questions have to be asked about the goalkeeping.

This video shows RoboEireann goal highlights from the Robocup German Open 2012 - a robot soccer competition which featured 38 teams from 12 nations.

RoboEireann, from the National University of Ireland Maynooth, competed in the Standard Platform League and overcame teams from Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Germany to place second overall, behind reigning world champions, B-Human.
