If you had offered us a point going into Monday evening's game with Sweden, we probably would have taken it. Ireland's first half performance and Wes Hoolahan's opening goal elicited more fanciful notions. It's really a game which we should have won.
Still, despite the disappointment, Irish fans in Paris over the last two days have enjoyed the atmosphere and endeared themselves to the locals.
