Yesterday's Sunday Times broke another huge story regarding doping in sport.

Undercover investigators for the paper spoke to a doctor named Mark Bonar who disclosed that he has worked with a number of sports stars including a Tour de France cyclist, a boxing champion, an English cricketer, tennis players and - most intriguingly - Premier League footballers.

Arsenal, Birmingham, Chelsea and Leicester were clubs implicated in the story. They have since come out and denied all claims.

The Sunday Times quoted Bonar as saying that he has worked with a 'few footballers', some of whom, according to the paper, were 'extremely well-known to fans'. He was also said to have given one player a 'cocktail' of steroids.

Bonar, on Twitter, has also denied allegations made in the story.

Bonar is actually Irish, from Dublin and a graduate of UCD.
