We may not know who we are playing yet, but that hasn't stopped Irish fans from planning ahead.
As well as an away trip to one of Copenhagen, Bern, Rome, or Zagreb, there is going to be major demand for the home leg so the FAI have released information regarding the best way to secure your place well in advance, with tickets for the home leg going on general sale from Friday, October 20.
The first important date is Tuesday, October 17 as this the draw for the playoff will take place at 1.30pm Irish time. We will then find out who we are playing, and when, which will allow travelling supporters to sort out their flights/accommodation/jump leads for the van.
FAI season ticket holders will be able to purchase two additional pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, October 18 at 11:00am, starting at €30 for adults. The current season ticket is valid for the home leg of the playoff matches.
Anyone can apply for away tickets via the 'Away Ticketing System' on away.fai.ie from Thursday, October 19. This will be two days after we learn who our opponents are.
And then finally, general sale tickets will be available from Friday, October 20th, again at 11am. You would want to be logged on bright and early for that one as they will be gone quick.
