The FAI has confirmed that Ireland will face USA in the first game of the world champions' five-game victory tour.
The game will take place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on August 3rd at 7pm local time, 3am Irish time.
"It's a great opportunity for us to be asked to go over to play the USA," said Ireland captain Katie McCabe.
It will be great preparation for us to test ourselves against the best in the world ahead of our European Championships campaign.
Also, it will be good to get the squad back together after not having seen each other in a while. It will all help towards getting us ready for the game on September 3rd.
FAI general manager Noel Mooney said he is unsure if a replacement for departed manager Colin Bell will be in place for the game.
Ireland play Montenegro in their first game of the 2021 European Championships qualifying campaign on September 3rd.
