With so many of Ireland's players lighting it up in the Women's Super League and a real air of excitement around this World Cup all eyes are on Vera Pauw and her squad as they go in search of major international success for Irish football.
When will the Ireland WNT World Cup squad be announced?
Vera Pauw is set to name a 23-person squad the morning of Wednesday the 28th of June.
Pauw's squad will include 23 players and 3 alternates.
The alternates can take the place of a player who has been forced to medically withdraw.
The Ireland squad will then take on France in Tallaght Stadium next Thursday before heading to Australia the next day to begin their preparations for the opening game.
Who will the Ireland WNT play at the Women's World Cup?
Ireland have been drawn in Group B alongside hosts Australia and will open the Australian aspect of the tournament in front of the sold-out 80 000-seater Australia Stadium in Sydney on July 20th.
The Girls in Green will also play Canada and Nigeria in their four-team group to decide who progresses to the last 16. With eight groups in total, the top two teams in every group will earn a place in the next round.
The Ireland WNT play Canada second on the 26th of July before playing their final group stage game against Nigeria five days later on the 31st of July.

When is the Women's World Cup?
The 2023 Fifa Women's World Cup will be played across Australia and New Zealand, with Ireland opening the Australian side of the tournament in just 21 days on the 20th of July. It has been confirmed that all 80,000 seats for the curtainraiser vs Australia have been sold.
