The draw for the UEFA Euro 2025 Qualifiers has taken place and Ireland have been drawn in a ridiculously tough group with France, England and Sweden.
Ireland's Head Coach Eileen Gleeson was present at the draw, which in Nyon, Switzerland, as the road to Switzerland took shape.
Ireland were in Pot 4 of the League after earning promotion from League B in last year's Nations League. The top two teams of their pot will automatically qualify for the EURO 2025 tournament, while third and fourth position will enter a play-off series later in the year.
The winners, runners-up and third place teams of League A this year will remain in League A for the next tournament, while fourth position will be relegated to League B.

League A Euro 2025 Draw Info
It's the proverbial group of death for Ireland, with the second place team at the World Cup (England), the third place team at the World Cup (Sweden), and France, who lost to the hosts Australia in penalties in the quarterfinals.
How qualifying will work
League Stages
Teams will compete in groups of four and play over six matchdays between April and July, with each team playing one home match and one away match against all the other teams in their group. The top two teams in each League A group will gain places in the July 2025 finals alongside hosts Switzerland (who will compete in League B although their automatic qualification is assured). The remaining seven spots will be decided by two rounds of play-offs in the autumn.
