The FAI announced today that Ireland will play Spain in a friendly at the New York Yankee's, Yankee Stadium, on June 11th.

The Football Association of Ireland today (April 8) confirmed that it will play World and European champions, Spain in the Yankee Stadium, New York on June 11 at 8pm, Eastern Time. The match will be the last of four consecutive fixtures in May / June for the men's senior team, starting with England v Republic of Ireland in Wembley on May 29, the 3 international friendly against Georgia in Aviva Stadium on June 2 and the home World Cup qualification match against the Faroe Islands on June 7.
Let's just hope that the game doesn't end up with a baseball score on the scoreboard.
On June 11, reigning World Cup and European champions Spain will play Ireland. Kickoff is 8pm ET.
