We're coming up to 15 years since a Roy Keaneless Ireland reached the Last 16 of the World Cup in Japan and South Korea, only to get feckin' poxed by a plucky Spanish outfit in Suwon.
Sure, as per this writer's recollection at least, Spain had at least six goals disallowed on that fine evening. Sure, Damien Duff might have dived to win Ireland's first penalty - but we made a balls of it anyway. And yes, we persisted with five at the back despite Spain being down to nine players at one point during extra time, but we looked extremely solid during that spell.
In truth, Spain can count their lucky stars that they even reached penalties, but the jammy gits got there in the end, and by Christ, they even managed to scrape past us from the spot.
We're giving you five minutes to name all 10 penalty takers from that fateful shootout in Suwon; five Irish players, five Spanish players.
Good luck!
