Many die-hand football fans will probably be familiar with football magazine-turned-website 11Freunde. Well today they have dedicated some of their build-up to the Ireland v Germany match to honouring Irish fans and our general penchant for being good craic.
Their article kind of gets a little lost in translation, given that Google translates the headline as 'Irish is Human,' but we get the idea. They say:
Games against the Irish national team are always highlights. But not because of the game, but because of the crazy fans.
The proof? Well for starters, they love this photo.
And they also throw in a few videos from Euro 2012 to prove their point, including one fan chant dedicated to Germany's own Angela Merkel:
