Stephen Kenny has named his Ireland team to play Italy in a Euro U21 Championships qualifier in Tallaght this evening.
It is a strong looking team, with Troy Parrott, Jayson Molumby, and Adam Idah all in the side. Darragh Leahy and Jonathan Afolabi both miss out due to injury.
Ireland go into the game sitting top of Group A having beaten Luxembourg, Armenia and Sweden. A win in this one would put Ireland in firm control of the group, with the top side qualifying straight for the finals in Hungary and Slovenia in the summer of 2021.
The best runner-up from the nine group will also qualify directly for the finals, while the other eight second placed sides will go into the play-offs.
Italy have played only one game in the group thus far, a convincing 5-0 victory over group minnows Luxembourg.
