Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has named his team to face Andorra this evening, picking a slightly underwhelming side.

He has opted against starting any of the uncapped players in the squad, although Troy Parrott will be making only his second start at senior level.

It looks as though it will be a 4-3-3 formation, with James McClean starting at left back alongside the partnership of John Egan and Dara O'Shea. Matt Doherty is at right back and Gavin Bazunu is handed a third consecutive start in goal.

Josh Cullen, Conor Hourihane, and Jason Knight have been included in midfield. Troy Parrott, James Collins, and Ronan Curtis make up the remainder of the side.

In all, he has made eight changes to the team that drew with Qatar in March during their most recent fixture.

Many supporters will be disappointed to see the likes of Jamie McGrath and Caoimhín Kelleher left out.

Kenny will be hoping to earn his first win as Ireland boss at the 11th attempt, with Andorra an opponent his side will be expected to beat comfortably.

The micro-state currently find themselves in 158th position in the FIFA world rankings and have lost all four previous meetings against the Irish, although never by more than three goals.

Here's hoping the team can end that winless streak this evening.
