On the day that the Premier League returns to our lives, we've received some huge news on Ireland's fixtures for the autumn as we attempt to qualify for 2021's Euro 2020.
Ireland will play Slovakia on Thursday October 8 in Bratislava. Should we win, the playoff will take place on November 12.

The FAI also confirmed that Ireland would play friendlies away to Bulgaria - which will be Stephen Kenny's first game as Ireland manager - and home to Finland (who've qualified for Euro 2020) in September.
