Ireland have just scored four goals in a game. Do not adjust your screen.

We all hoped for a good performance tonight to follow up the win in Baku, and that's exactly what we got.

Stephen Kenny's side were absolutely brilliant right from the off against Qatar, with the 4-0 scoreline flattering the visitors if anything.

With some brilliant showings throughout the side, here's how we rated the performances on the night.

Ireland Player Ratings

Caoimhín Kelleher - 7

A player has probably never enjoyed a handier first start for his country. You genuinely have to rack your brain to even think of him touching the ball, although the stats will tell you he did on a few occasions.

A nice way to bed yourself into international football.

Andrew Omobamidele - 7

Was asked very little questions in the opening half, something that would continue throughout the game.

Like Egan on the left side of the defence, he played a big role in getting Ireland playing out from the back. It looks like he has been playing at this level for years, no small feat for a player that doesn't turn 20 until next June.

Shane Duffy - 8

Duffy was a constant threat in the opponent penalty area and you could see the discomfort he caused Qatar whenever he went up to that area of the pitch.

He was rewarded for the just before the hour mark, nodding home a brilliant corner from Conor Hourihane. Unsurprisingly, he was solid as ever at the back.

John Egan - 7

Egan had nothing of note to do in defence in the first half, although it was notable just how often he got Ireland on the front foot by playing forward passes into the middle third of the pitch.

Another solid outing for the defender.

Matt Doherty - 8

Doherty started brilliantly down the right, playing a huge part in a number of attacks as Ireland got plenty of joy down that side.

He has really stepped up his game at international level in recent months, although it was a real pity to see him replaced by Cyrus Christie at halftime after picking up a knock.

Enda Stevens - 7

Making his first international appearance since March, Stevens advanced well up the pitch and left John Egan to provide most of the cover on that left flank. He also defended well one-on-one on the occasions he was asked to.

His final ball let him down on a couple of occasions, but it was a strong return from the Sheffield United man.

Conor Hourihane - 8

Recommended

Delivered some beautiful balls into the box, especially in the opening 20 minutes or so. He is a real asset to have int he side, especially in games where you would expect to have most of the ball.

His set-piece delivery was exemplary as always, providing the assist for Shane Duffy's header in the second half.

Jeff Hendrick - 9

Hendrick was in flying form right from the first whistle, zipping around the pitch and producing some beautiful touches after getting on the ball.

His assist for Robinson's third was absolutely delightful, weighting a perfect through ball behind the defence to leave it on a plater for the striker. If only we could see more of this Jeff Hendrick.

This was probably his best performance in an Ireland shirt since Euro 2016.

Chiedozie Ogbene - 7

Could well have had a goal in the opening stages but just about missed Conor Hourihane's cross. He also rattled the bar late in the half, producing from a thumping header from Robinson's ball in.

His pace really is something to behold, with opposition defenders terrified to allow him to pick up a head of steam and he could have had a couple of goals on another night. Replace by Jason Knight with 20 minutes left to play.

Jamie McGrath - 7

Started the game very brightly, eventually winning the penalty that led to Ireland's second. It was brilliant to see how comfortable he is on the ball, offering the team something different in the final third.

He is yet another player who looks to be growing into this level more and more with every game he plays.

Callum Robinson - 10

Took absolutely no time to pick up where he left off in Baku, scoring yet another goal from outside the box inside the opening five minutes, admittedly with the help of a deflection. He had his second a few minutes later, expertly tucking away the spot kick after McGrath was brought down in the box.

He couldn't manage the hat-trick against Azerbaijan, but there seemed little doubt about it tonight. Robinson would get his third less than ten minutes into the second half, finishing beautifully after being slipped in by Hendrick.

With five goals in two games, one can only hope Ireland have finally found a consistent goalscorer at this level.

Substitutes

Cyrus Christie - 6

Coming on for Doherty at the interval, Christie did his bit in getting Ireland playing down the right. He made a couple of lung busting runs forward and wasn't asked too many questions in defence

Jason Knight - 6

Playing a bit further forward than we normally see from him, with Knight bringing plenty of energy as you would come to expect.

Troy Parrott, Nathan Collins, Harry Arter, & James Collins - N/A

Not on long enough to rate, although it was a great occasion for Nathan Collins to make his senior international debut.
