Ireland will play England in Dublin for the first time since 1995. That last game was of course abandoned due to a riot at Lansdowne Road.
It was reported back in February that the fixture was likely and now we have a confirmed date. Talking on The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk, FAI chief executive John Delaney said that the friendly would be taking place on June 7th, 2015.
The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Wembley in May of last year when an excellent Shane Long header gave Ireland an early lead.
