Heimir Hallgrímsson has now had four windows to get to know his Ireland team and - whisper it quietly - he appears to be building some much-needed team spirit as the World Cup qualifiers approach in the autumn.
A disastrous start saw successive limp home defeats to Greece and England but the following six games have seen Ireland pick up four wins (albeit against relatively poor opposition) and build some momentum under the new head coach.
Hallgrímsson was adamant when he first arrived that he wanted to find his strongest team and stick to it but he has been forced to contend with several injury issues since taking over. Experienced players such as Chiedozie Ogbene have been forced to spend lengthy spells on the sidelines, while some other players have dipped in and out of form.
We have a simple task for you today. We've gone back over all the players who have contended for a starting spot under Hallgrímsson thus far and we want you to pick the starting XI you would pick if every player was fit.
