Ipswich's 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday was always going to be the weekend's top-story, it was of course Ruben Amorim's first game in charge of the world's most famous football club.
While the inconclusive draw most certainly hit the headlines, it was neither Amorim or Man United front and centre, but the club's former captain Roy Keane.
The Corkonian had been on punditry duty for Sky Sports Super Sunday when he found himself caught up in a heated altercation with the Tractor Boy's home supporters who had been abusing him during an ad break.
Never one to shy away from controversy or conflict, Keane wasted no time abandoning his microphone and confronting the fan base, with the former Manchester United man getting up close and personal with the Ipswich fans telling them he'd meet them in the car park after he was finished his deep-dive on Amorim and Manchester United's failures in Portman Road.
I'll wait for you in the car park and we can discuss it.
I'll wait for you in the car park, I'll wait for you in the car park.

Ipswich fan reveals what he said to Roy Keane in heated altercation
However, the story which took football by storm on Sunday evening has enjoyed another interesting twist on Monday morning as Neil Finbow, who was in the middle of the incident took to Facebook to reveal what happened in Portman Road.
Finbow, who can be spotted wearing the woolly cap beside Keane during the argument, not only posted three accounts of the incident on his facebook page but also replied to commenters who were intrigued as to what went down.
New claim to fame just been offered out into the carpark by Roy Keane after a few choice words even Jamie Redknapp had to come over to get him away just ya average Sunday evening out.
Yep did remind him he set us back 5 years and ruined our football club also mentioned he wasn't fit to step foot anywhere near our ground. Oh and I mentioned about him walking out on a world cup and breaking Halaands leg and putting it in his auto biography I hate the bloke and that's been boiling up since he got sacked all those years ago.
Finbow was of course referring to Keane's now-infamous stewardship of Ipswich between 2009 and 2011, a relationship that ended poorly when Keane's failure to compete and poor run of form saw him part ways with the club in January 2011.
The Ipswich who is clearly still reeling from Keane's time in charge of the club, also claimed that Keane had 'gone soft' if comments about him being a 'better pundit than manager' was enough to wind him up.
Mate calm down (the same words I was saying to Roy funny enough) If a comment "the best thing you done was walk your dog in Woodbridge" and "your a better pundit than a Manager" classes as abuse I'm sorry the world and you have gone soft. Anyway got the Mirror and daily Mail asking for my story. And just to clear up I'm the one to the left not the guy in Roy's face. It's hardly the Cantana kungfu kick situation is it.
Few home truths thrown at him he decided to bite very unprofessional I'm sure he had worse when he was playing.
Apart from Keane being a knob that was an enjoyable game against a so called "one of the biggest clubs in the world" proud of the boys in blue ITID.
While Keane was never known for his in-check temper, this is far from the first time he has been on the receiving end of abuse while working at football games. In May, an Arsenal fan was handed a three-year footballing ban and community service after a court found him guilty of headbutting Roy Keane while he was working an Arsenal v Manchester United game for Sky Sports.
