Being 3-0 down and it nearly being half time was embarrassing enough for Dutch side Utrecht. AZ's American striker, Jozy Altidore, had put three goals past them when in injury time at the end of the first half, Mike van der Hoorn decided that they needed some extra help towards victory.

The ball was crossed into the Utrecht box, where it eventually fell to van der Hoorn in front of his own goal, under no pressure he totally panics and bundles the ball into his own net.

The blunder was so bad that even the ref begins consoling the Utrecht defender.

AZ ran out 6-0 winners in the game.
