One of Manchester United sponsor's Bwin appeared to prematurely announce that the Red Devils had made the signing of Ilkay Gundogan last night.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been chased by Barcelona, Real Madrid and United in the last year, but this tweet from Man United's betting partner that was sent out before it was swiftly deleted appears to suggest that United had made their second signing of the summer:

This is by no means a confirmation of a move, and there are reasons to be wary of believing bookies. However, there are signs suggesting that a move to United is getting closer. Barcelona reportedly pulled out of the race to sign him earlier in the week and with confirmation that he would not sign another deal with Dortmund, it leaves Old Trafford as his most likely destination.
With Memphis Depay the first to sign, it looks like Louis Van Gaal is trying to get his business done early and and the expected move for Gundogan would certainly be an early statement of intent ahead of next season.
