After losing to Belenenses in the 1,000th game of his career last night, it seems Iker Casillas has finally caught the eye of Liverpool, with rumours circulating that he could be on his way to be Merseyside.
Casillas' contract at Porto expires this summer, and The Guardian are reporting that he may get a late late soiree in the Premier League. He has been in and out of the Porto side all season but has started every game bar one since Jose Sa's mid-February howler of a performance against Liverpool, ironically.
The goalkeeping crisis at Anfield has been well-documented at this stage but would the 36-year-old really be the man to solve it? Perhaps he's only being viewed as an option for the bench.
Elsewhere, Klopp is also reportedly interested in signing Cagliari's Nicolo Barella but given he's hit the back of the net five times this season, it's unlikely he'll want to play him in goals.
