Spanish news channel RTVE have announced that Iker Casillas is set to leave his boyhood club Real Madrid in the summer, which looks to pave the way for a move for Manchester United's David de Gea.

Iker Casillas Leaving Real Madrid after 25 years after joining the club as a 9-year-old in 1990. He made his debut for the first team aged 16.
Casillas has been shut out of the Real Madrid team in the last few seasons, battling with the likes of Keylor Navas and Diego Lopez for gametime.
Now with the apparent impending arrival of Manchester United Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, the decision has been made for Casillas to leave the club in an attempt to make the most out of the last few years of his career.
De Gea is entering into the final year of his contract with Manchester United, and the rumours have been gathering that he is set to move back to Spain.
