It's no secret that Tottenham's Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama is one of Roy Keane's biggest admirers.
Back in 2016, the former Celtic and Southampton enforcer revealed his love for Keane in an interview with Four Four Two - this on the back of a season which saw him sent off three times in Saints colours.
A £15m move to Spurs last summer was a culmination of the 25-year-old's rapid ascent through the world of British football, but over a decade ago, it was Manchester United - and in particular Keane - who made a young Wanyama believe he could leave the streets of Nairobi and make it as a footballer in Europe.
Speaking with CNN, Wanyama reiterated his respect for Keane, and admitted that while he's still yet to meet the Manchester United legend, he still hopes to one day.

Wanyama was speaking to CNN at an event in London where he picked up an award for his charity work with disadvantaged kids in his homeland.
Having twice been signed by Mauricio Pocchetino, Wanyama explained why the Argentine has been such an effective manager during his Premier League career to date:
The manager has transformed everything at the club and everyone is thinking at a different level now because everyone thinks we need to fight for bigger things. That's what we are doing and I think we are on the right track.
He speaks to us not only about football, but also about life in general.
We speak about everything. He wants to help you and make you a better man. Whenever I feel like I want to talk to him, or he feels like he wants to talk to you, he's always available for us and makes you want to fight for him.
