Considering the announcement of Jurgen Klopp's upcoming Anfield departure at the end of the season, it is perhaps understandable that Liverpool garnered far more attention than Norwich City ahead of the FA Cup meeting between the two sides this afternoon.
The German has been one of most dominant figures in British football for almost a decade, with the news of his departure taking everyone by surprise.
With this being the first Liverpool fixture since the announcement, it was always going to dominate the pre-match conversation during the broadcast on ITV. That turned out to be the case, with much of the buildup to the game spent discussing Jurgen Klopp.
In saying that, there was a pretty strange oversight when it came to talking about Norwich City.

Ian Wright makes Adam Idah error before Liverpool vs Norwich City
Ian Wright is one of the best pundits in the business, having been a mainstay on our television screens for over two decades. He brings both entertainment and a genuine insight whenever he appears on a broadcast.
That what made this error all the more odd.
When discussing the Norwich City team on ITV before the game against Liverpool, Wright would speak about how big of an afternoon this was for Ireland international Adam Idah. He said that with the club's top scorer Jon Rowe not playing, it was a chance for the Cork native to step up and prove his worth to the club.
That was an interesting statement.
Firstly, Jon Rowe was not in the Norwich City team, but he is a winger and not a striker. Secondly, Adam Idah was not even starting for the Canaries, having been included on the substitute's bench.
It seemed like a pretty glaring error on Wright's behalf, one quite a few Norwich fans were quick to point out.
I wasn’t expecting much from the ITV coverage, but why are Ian Wright and Laura Woods (two of the absolute best in the business BTW) bigging up Idah as the man to replace Rowe, when he’s not even starting for #NCFC ?

Ian wright saying that it’s Adam Idahs chance today, given top goalscorer Jon Rowe is out.
Jonny Rowe plays on the wing, and Adam idah is on the bench, Ian.

Ian Wright wants Idah to step up... He'll struggle while he's on the bench #ncfc

Norwich City fans might have expected Liverpool to dominate the conversation during the broadcast of this game, but they were probably assuming that the pundits on show would at least know who was included in the away team.
Ian Wright is a brilliant pundit, but wires clearly got crossed somewhere here.
Adam Idah has largely been consigned to a substitute role at Carrow Road this season, with the player recently linked with a move to Serie A ahead of the close of winter transfer window next week.
