Hull City owner Assem Allam announced yesterday that he put the club up for sale five months ago, it just seems that he told nobody about it. That decision came in the wake of the FA rejecting his plan to change the club's name to Hull Tigers.

Allam also announced that he was appealing the FA's decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and if that failed he would sell the club.
Further questioned about what he would do if the appeal was unsuccessful and he did not find a buyer, the Hull City owner said that he would give the club away.
