Ireland international Aaron Connolly has made his latest transfer, with a loan move to Hull City confirmed yesterday.
The Galway native will join the Championship side until the end of the season, having seen his time at Italian side Venezia cut short.

It could prove to be a pivotal move in his career.
The last couple of years have certainly not gone to plan for the forward. Having fallen out of favour at Brighton, loan moves to Middlesbrough and Venezia have failed to bear much fruit. His lack of form and some off-field concerns have resulted in plenty of criticism in recent times.
While he is still only 22-years old, many are already labelling this as his final opportunity to turn things around.
Liam Rosenior comments offer Aaron Connolly encouragement
He could be at the perfect club to get his career back on track.
Hull City manager Liam Rosenior knows Aaron Connolly very well. He was a coach with the Brighton U23 side at a time when the Irishman was coming through, shining at that level before ultimately making the step up to senior football.
Rosenior is the one that pushed this move through and he clearly still believes that the player has plenty to offer.
Speaking to Hull Live this week, he summed up why Hull City is the ideal landing spot for him at the moment.
Aaron is a player that has so much potential; he's still very young and has the potential to score goals. His career over the last two years probably hasn't gone as he'd have expected.
He's someone I have known since he was 16-years-old. I know how he ticks. I know how he works and I can't wait to get to work with him.
It can happen, players go through good periods in their careers and they go through difficult periods in their careers but their quality is never in doubt.
Sometimes, I feel a player needs a coach who understands them and hopefully we see the best of Aaron Connolly because if we do, then he's going to be a real threat in this league.
It will be a loan until the end of the season.
Those words should offer a huge amount of encouragement to Aaron Connolly. He is a player that seems to thrive when he has a manager that believes in him, one that will offer an arm over the shoulder and some words of encouragement.
On the player's part, he admitted that the manager was the driving factor behind him move to the club.
I’m really excited. I know a few people around the place already and obviously I know the gaffer well. It’s good to be here and see the stadium, and good to have gotten a few training sessions in before the games get going.
When I heard Liam wanted me here I couldn’t say yes quick enough. Working with him before I’ve had my best few seasons in football really. He was the assistant at Brighton and I played with him a few times… It was a good to learn off someone like that.
He was a big part of my first Under 23 game when I was only 16, and to have someone like that in the dressing room.
It seems like that Liam Rosenior will give him every opportunity to succeed at the MKM Stadium. It is now up to the player himself to make the most of them.
