Sweden vs France turned out to be a cracking watch on Friday night, with the home side eventually pulling off a 2-1 win to sit on top of World Cup qualifying group A after 6 games.
It wasn't looking good for the Swedes as Olivier Giroud opened the scoring with a sublime moment of magic, but within minutes had channeled the spirit of Wes Hoolahan to draw level.
It stayed that way until after 90 minutes, but right when it was looking like a draw would be the final result, Huge Lloris gifted the win to Sweden with an inexcusable brain-fart.
With just 10 seconds left of the additional three minutes to play after the 90, Lloris went rogue and took the ball far out of his area before a mis-kick landed at the feet of Ola Toivonen, who was more than happy to punish the Frenchman from inside his own half.
Daft.
A huge, huge win for Sweden, who would have been down to third place thanks to the Netherlands' 5-0 win over Luxembourg if it had stayed level.
France are still heavy favourites to go through, but this is a blow as they were looking to book their place in Russia as early as possible.
