Huddersfield will put their company in the Premier League to shame next season with extremely low-cost season tickets for their return to the top flight.
With adult season tickets priced at £199 for any part of Kirklees Stadium, the club will not only be the cheapest to watch in the Premier League, but also cheaper than every Championship club this season except for relegated Wigan, who currently charge £179.
Huddersfield's prices break down to just under £10.50 per game for adults.
Half of 'Town' fans surveyed by the Huddersfield Daily Examiner earlier this year said they'd be willing to part with anything in the region of £250 to £400 for a season ticket next campaign. Instead, they'll pay less than £200.
Better still, if they've been season ticket holders since 2008/09, they'll be paying half-price - at least if chairman and lifelong fan Dean Hoyle keeps his word. Back in March 2010, the 49-year-old issued a 'Personal Premiership Pledge', in which he made a guarantee to offer £100 season tickets to long-standing fans for the first season Huddersfield Town participated in the top flight – should they ever make it under his chairmanship.
Via the Daily Examiner, Hoyle said at the time:
In 2009 when I became chairman of this great club, I set out my motives and ambitions.
This heralded the real start of a new era and I called on people to join with me and our club on what promised to be an exciting journey.
Just a year on from then, I now want to demonstrate my deep personal thanks by making my own personal pledge to the fans that have already joined with me and our club on the journey and backed us.
This is my Personal Premiership Pledge: If we are able, one day, to be promoted to the Premiership and I am still chairman, then every fan who has been a season-ticket holder in either the 2008-09 or 2009-10 seasons – and then continued each year from 2010-11 – will be able to share in that success and be rewarded for that loyal and unstinting support.
They will be truly special. Each of them will be able purchase a season-ticket for the first season in the Premiership for just £100.
A popular figure amongst fans of the west Yorkshire club, the consensus is that, given his history, Hoyle will indeed come good on his pledge.
Arsenal's season tickets (the most expensive section costing £2,013) will be reduced by 10% next season due to the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League, but they'll likely still be the most expensive club to watch in England, and - on average - about six times more expensive than Huddersfield.

Man City, meanwhile, offer season tickets as cheap as £299 - just £100 more expensive than the Premier League newcomers. Relegated Hull offered annual passes for £249 this season - the cheapest in the Premier League.
