The wait is over for Stephanie Roche and the rest of Ireland. The FIFA Ballon D'Or awards are taking place this evening in Zurich, with a host of awards to be given out, chief among them the Puskas award for goal of the year.
The ceremony begins at 5.30 pm Irish time (6.30 pm Zurich time) with Roche's category expected to be one of the earliest awards presented.
