Ireland will hope their wastefulness in the first leg will not come back and bite them. After Israel's Stem Lemkin was sent off for a last man challenge in the 80th minute, the hosts had a flurry of chances with Aaron Connolly firing over one in the last minute of injury time.

However, one positive aspect heading into tomorrow's game is that they have scored in every game bar one. You have to go back to November for the last time they haven't hit the back of the net.

Israel will also be hopeful of getting their place in the European Championships in Romania and Georgia next summer. They've called three senior players into the squad.

They showed on Friday night that they set up well defensively and can hit their opponents on the counter.

They have scored 20 goals so far in the qualification campaign slightly more than the young Ireland side's 17.

However, their home form has not been good recently with one win in their past 3 games, a 2-0 win against European minnows San Marino.

Team News

Ireland U21 manager Jim Crawford does not have any fresh injury doubts heading into the 2nd leg of the play off.

Israel will of course be missing defender Stem Lemkin due to suspension after receiving a red card in the first leg.
