If you've been counting down the days until FIFA 16 is released on September 22nd, then you should know that you can download and play it today if you so wish.
It's not free, but if you're a true FIFA addict or simply want to spend your weekend playing FIFA 16, you can do so on either Xbox One or Playstation 4.
EA Access is a subscription service that allows you to download a trial of full games before they come out, and monthly subscription costs just €3.99, so you can pay that, then immediately cancel your subscription, and still have 30 days to download FIFA 16 or any other EA Sports game.
Getting EA Access is easy:
1) Go to the 'Store' section to the right of the home screen and click 'apps' on Xbox One, for Playstation 4 simply go to the store.
2) Click on 'Search apps' (or just search on PS4). Here, search for EA Access.
3) Install and launch the EA Access hub app.
4) Choose 'Sign up', and then choose your subscription option to become a member.
Now, that's not the full game for one month at €3.99, but it is a 10 hour trial of the full game. Still, you can have a weekend packed full of FIFA action, then buy the full game on it's release next week. Added bonus, EA Access members can save 10% on all EA digital purchases on Xbox One, that means FIFA Ultimate Team packs as well.
Keep in mind that the 10 ours are time spent on the disc, so if you start the game before it's fully downloaded and can only play Kick Off mode, then that will eat into your 10 hours. Wait for the download to finish fully and then enjoy all of FIFA 16.
It's certainly worth considering if you don't have plans, or want to ruin those plans by staying up until 5am playing the new FIFA.
