Juventus' incredible home Serie A winning streak of 33 matches was ended by Torino on Saturday in a hotly contested Turin derby, but it very nearly could have been worse.
With Gonzalo Higuain's stoppage time equaliser they extended their unbeaten home record in the league to a staggering 84 games, but their local rivals very nearly left with a shock win.
Adem Ljajic put the visitors in front with a superb free-kick shortly after half-time, as Neto who was standing in for Gigi Buffon was left rooted to the spot.
But things turned for Torino just five minutes later.
With Afriyie Acquah already on a yellow, the highly rated Ghanaian midfielder lunged into a challenge on Mario Mandzukic that saw him send off... And manager Siniša Mihajlović well and truly lost the rag with the officials, which saw him sent to the stands.
Known for having a short-fuse as a player, it's clear not much as changed for Mihajlović.
However, it looked as though his players were going to hang on as they entered stoppage time with their one goal lead intact. Cue 'expensive donkey' Gonzalo Higuain popping up and beating Joe Hart right at the death.
The result matters little in terms of the Serie A table, but with local pride at stake that was a big goal for Higuain, as a win for Torino would have been celebrated wildly in Turin.
Instead, the Old Lady's outrageous unbeaten record at home rumbles on. And that's just the 24 league goals for Higuain this season.
