Manchester United's rise under Ole Gunnar Solskjær was grounded in Old Trafford on Tuesday night as PSG took a big 2-0 advantage from their Champions League first-leg tie.
It was a thoroughly disappointing evening for the home side who lost Anthony Martial to injury and Paul Pogba to a red card. Speaking post-match, midfielder Ander Herrera gave an interesting account of where it all went wrong.
"I think the game was tight until the corner. After the first goal, they played the way they wanted to play against us today because we were pressing quite well. We were putting (them) in trouble but it is true after the first goal everything changed. I think the game was under control. I couldn't say we were a better team until that moment but we were not worse than them."
"It's going to be a tough night, tomorrow is going to be a tough day but we cannot loose our focus."
