Juventus are on course for an extraordinary fourth domestic double after Napoli fell to a 3-0 loss against Fiorentina, a result that sees them four points behind with three games to go.
Last night Juventus were on the good end of a fortunate 3-2 victory against Inter Milan which saw a late Gonzalo Higuaín double secure a dramatic comeback for the Old Lady. The ball was then in Napoli's court for today's game which begun in the worst possible way as Kalidou Koulibaly, who scored the dramatic winner last week, was sent off thanks to VAR. Fiorentina did not score the penalty but went on to score three times.
The result means Juventus now have to win games against Bologna and Verona to win the Serie A title. They have a vastly superior goal difference and Napoli looked slow and ponderous today. While Juventus still have to go to Roma, Napoli's chances do look increasingly unlikely now.
