As soon as the final whistle was blown last night many of us went straight to the internet to look for the best deals on flights and possible routes of getting to France next Summer.
Arranging transport and accommodation is one thing but getting ticket is another situation altogether.
Here's how to buy Euro 2016 tickets for the tournament next Summer.
Ticket Portal
The official ticket portal will open for Irish fans on December 15th, three days after the groups are drawn. Unfortunately over a million tickets were already sold in the first release of tickets during the Summer, with the second release designed to target specific nations.
The lowest category of ticket will set you back a very handy €25 for group and Round Of 16 games and will have you placed either up in the gods or down at sea level, but you'll be in amongst the action either way.
If you're looking for a birdseye view in these matches you can splash out €145 for a category one ticket.
Although many venue tickets were already snapped up during the Summer, plenty are likely to be returned when it's confirmed which teams play where, so keep your eyes peeled.
"Unofficial Methods"
As always you can buy tickets away from the traditional website however these methods are usually far more expensive and carry a certain degree of risk.
The most reputable website to look for tickets is probably Viagogo.com, where event tickets a resold by users who no longer want them.
These tickets usually end up costing much more than face value, but sometimes you can't put a price on the experience.
If you're desperate it's worth heading over to France during the Summer, you're likely to have a seriously good time regardless and you could even strike lucky with a tout shortly before one of the games, there's also the risk of possibly buying a fake but if you're willing to take the risk it could pay off big time.
