Here's David Moyes' Letter To Manchester United Fans

David Moyes has written in a magazine sent to Manchester United season ticket holders that he never "envisaged" things getting as bad as they have this season. He thanked the supporters for their "incredible" loyalty, reserving particular praise for United's away supporters.

Moyes' letter could be an attempt to cultivate his flagging support among United's hardcore fanbase (as opposed those disparagingly termed the 'day trippers' who lost faith in him a long time ago). Andy Mitten of 'United We Stand' has already indicated that prior to Olympiakos game, a majority of hardcore Manchester United supporters were behind Moyes, but in the wake of that meek defeat in Greece, the mood may have changed.
