Högaborgs though are currently experiencing an injury crisis and Henrik has volunteered to play. "Henrik will be on the bench," Högaborgs manager Kenneth Karlsson announced.
"He has been working as assistant coach here and we have had some problems with the team. He decided to help.
"He played half a reserve game on Monday. He scored one goal and made one assist in 45 minutes. So he is in respectable form."
It just so happens though that Högaborgs are the club of Henrik Larsson's fifteen-year-old son, Jordan. Attacking midfielder Jordan Larsson has already played ten games this season, so there is a strong chance the two will feature on the same pitch.
"[Henrik] will be a backup player but there is a possibility of both playing together," Karlsson said. "We’ll see how it goes."
