One of the biggest games of the year has finally come and the first half certainly delivered.
PSG traveled to Madrid tonight for their eagerly anticipated Champions League clash. Despite the incredible arsenal of attacking talent on display, the initial 20 minutes saw a stop-start game as the sides exchanged tit-for-tat tackles.
Eventually, PSG found their rhythm and scored the opening goal through Adrien Rabiot. Real Madrid responded well and just before the break won a penalty thanks to Toni Kroos.
As for the penalty itself, the ball bizarrely seemed to jump as Ronaldo prepared to strike it. It seemed as if the his standing foot stepping on the turf pushed the ball up as there certainly wasn't two touches.
Ronaldo used black magic to make the ball levitate so he could volley the penalty. Biggest winner in the history of the sport pic.twitter.com/ATLzhP8rTl

At half-time, the score was 1-1 although PSG will be happy to grab an early away goal.
