Cancer patient Lloyd Burton's dream came true when his idol David Beckham paid the young man a visit as part of the fundraising campaign Stand Up To Cancer.
The football legend talked to the youngster about everything from family to school and of course, football. Lloyd was a promising footballer and was scouted by several big clubs including Man Utd and Aston Villa before being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The radiotherapy and chemotherapy used to treat the disease has left Lloyd wheelchair bound and has cut his football career short before it even began.
The former United winger comes across as an absolute gentleman and you can tell he made an effort to ensure the boy wasn't disappointed. It's extremely difficult to dislike Beckham when he does stuff like this.
