He's 38 years old but judging by the evidence below Didier Drogba isn't past his sell-by date just yet.
The Chelsea legend plundered a 52 minute hat-trick for his latest employers the Montral Impact as they brushed aside the Philadelphia Union last night in the MLS. Drogba has so far proved to be a shrewd signing for Montreal despite his advancing years, scoring 21 goals in his 28 appearances in the MLS thus far.
This was the Ivorian's second hat-trick in the United States after bagging three goals on his first start for Monteal last August and this form has earned him a call-up to the MLS All-Star Squad.
Drogba will be joined in the All-Stars by former Premier League players Liam Ridgewell, Giovanni Dos Santos and Clint Dempsey. Household names Kaka, Andrea Pirlo and David Villa will also be in involved but there was no place on the roster for Robbie Keane this year.
