Hartlepool United usually make the news through acts of great incompetence leaving their celebrity fan Jeff Stelling utterly exasperated on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday. Today it is much different, as the club have made a very impressive gesture to further support Stelling's recent charitable push.
Stelling has completed ten walking marathons in ten days in support of Prostate Cancer UK. Stelling left Hartlepool on March 21st, visiting 31 different clubs en route to crossing the finishing line at Wembley stadium. In doing so, he raised a remarkable £300,000 for the charity. That is a remarkable effort by Stelling, and now his club are supporting him further:
We're delighted announce that next season the Town End at The Vic will be re-named as The Prostate Cancer UK Stand. @ProstateUK #JeffsMarch

An extremely impressive gesture by the club.
