It's being reported that Harry Redknapp's wife, Sandra, has been left injured after an accident involving the former Tottenham manager's car.
The Sun write that Mrs. Redknapp's coat got caught in the car door after she was dropped 'at the shops', with 'Arry obliviously driving away and dragging her down the street.
Onlookers were left horrified - a common theme in Sun stories, but somewhat understandable in this instance - as Sandra Redknapp yelled until her 69-year-old husband caught wind and slammed on the brakes. She was quite badly injured, and was subsequently whisked away to hospital where she received surgery on her foot.
Harry, for his part, was according to witnesses left extremely shaken by the incident and moved his car before hopping in the ambulance with his wife.
One local witness in Bournemouth told The Sun:
I was in a shop and a couple of people came in and said, ‘Crikey, there’s a lady who’s been dragged along the road’.
Then someone else came in and said it was Harry Redknapp who had just dropped his wife off.
It goes without saying that we wish Sandra well in her recovery.
