Irish u19 international Ryan Manning has completed his move from Galway United to QPR. According to the London club's website, the 18 year old attacker has "penned a deal until the summer of 2017 following the expiration of his contract at Galway United."

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has said that he is delighted to be able to welcome Manning to the club, particularly as he had been 'chased by a number of top clubs in the Premier League', one of whom was rumoured to be Spurs.

Although Manning was out of contract with Galway, the club are nonetheless entitled to a fee in line with FIFA's training compensation rules for players under 23 years of age. The exact fee in question remains undisclosed according to Galway's official website.
