What story is dominating the back pages this fine Friday morning? Why Man United willing to pay £45 million for Harry Kane of course. Just put us out of our misery now.
We're really not sure if we can deal with this for the rest of the summer. The Daily Mail have seemingly taken the lead on this one but it also makes the back page of the Times as well as being reported in the Telegraph. Up until now we thought our transfer bullshit-o-meter was quite good. But this has just broken it.
What can you say £45 million for Harry Kane. Don't get us wrong he's had a very good year but that is just 50 shades of batshit crazy. It's on the back of the Times. What has happened that this is now acceptable?
But, what if it's true? What if, in this world, Harry Kane is worth that much, what if Europe's top clubs are lining up for him? No, don't you dare think that. The beautiful game might actually have to pack up and go home. We're holding dearly on to our healthy scepticism but we can't say the same for everyone else.
I'd be buzzing if we were actually after Harry Kane, perfect fit for United. #MUFC
