Harry Kane made his much publicised debut for Bayern Munich yesterday evening, in a 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the final of the German Super Cup.
Kane was brought on in the 63rd minute, with the score at 2-0, and five minutes later Bayern's fate was sealed as Dani Olmo completed his hat-trick.
Had Bayern managed to win, the anti-Tottenham memes would have been in full flow, with Kane winning his first trophy so soon after leaving the London club.
Instead, social media was full of fans taking the mick out Kane as his wait for a trophy continues.

Harry Kane is probably noticing just how ambitious Bayern truly are. One Supercup loss and the entire club is under pressure in crisis mode 😭

Maybe the best joke made was a reference to 'The Day Today', which was a popular satirical news show - created by Armando Iannaucci and Chris Morris - that aired in 1994.
One its most endearing characters was news reporter Peter O'Hanra-Hanrahan, and a moment in yesterday's final, when Kane appeared to want to speak to the German referee, was reminiscent of sketch that featured O'Hanra-Hanrahan's laughable attempt at German.
Asked about the penalty after the game, he said he didn’t like it, but he had to along with it https://t.co/okaG7cnhrW

“We don’t expect him to be the superhero," said Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel after the game.
"We just expect him to be who he is. A top guy, a top goalscorer and a top personality.
“I feel sorry for him. We did not create. We did not keep the momentum going. We did not create enough for him.
“He will help us a lot. We need exactly his attitude. To help us step out of the circle of repetitive performances like this.
“Harry went to bed at three or four o’clock, after his medical. We need to learn from him. He does not need to learn from us. He will help us a lot to escape the cycle or poor performances we have been having.”
