Being the age I am, half of my friends seemed to get news of the dramatic late equaliser from some invigilator who spent their days strolling around the classroom ostensibly keeping an eye out for cheating but really just passing the time. I have heard many similar horror stories down the years.
I was fortunate enough to be a second year at the time and was thus just a few days into those glorious summer holidays.
