The goal came from a header by the American forward. The assist for the goal came after some fancy footwork and then an inviting left-footed cross from Robbie Keane.
LA have done some interesting business over the winter.
Their starting line-up last night featured - along with Robbie Keane, Steven Gerrard and Giovani Dos Santos - some of their off-season acquisitions which include Ashley Cole, Nigel De Jong and Belgian international Jelle Van Damme.
