Scotland fans are quiet pessimistic, and you can't blame them as it seems any time their football team is on the verge of doing something good they somehow manage to throw it all away, as they did against Georgia to give Ireland a pathway back into the Euros last Summer.
One could have been forgiven for believing that today's u20 Toulon Tournament game against Brazil was going to be no different with some fans already bracing themselves for disappointment.
If anyone should, for any reason, wish to induce depression, just watch Scotland U20 against Brazil.

The Scottish game often gets a lot of slack by English football fans, particularly with the sides facing off in the World Cup Qualifiers in Hampden next week, but for today they can go out and party like it's 1978 as they've only gone and beaten Brazil.
Brazil were heavily tipped to see out the game easily despite playing poorly in a 1-0 victory over Indonesia's u19 side in their first group game, while the Scots went in needing a win keep a realistic hope of qualifying for the next round having lost to The Czech Republic.
But the Tartan Army had other ideas and Kilmarnock's Greg Taylor came up with his very own Archie Gemmil moment in the 36th minute to write himself into the history books. His rocket shot was enough and Scotland managed to see out the rest of the game to win 1-0.

The reaction back home was one full of pride and disbelief as people weren't quit sure how they managed it, but believe it folks, and now they stand a very good chance of making the knock out stage too.

Don't know how good that Brazil u20 team is but that looks like a cracking result on paper for Scotland
