Rafa Honigstein of The Guardian and various other publications threw it out on Twitter today that QPR actually pay more in wages than Borussia Dortmund.
One unsurprised response came from former German international Thomas Hitzlsperger. He claims that he was once in negotiations with QPR and asked for £5m in wages (presumably over the life of the contract).
Unflapped at the prospect of a £5m agent fee, QPR responded to Hitzlsperger's agent "and how much does your player want?"
.@honigstein I once wanted to sign for QPR and asked for £ 5m. They asked my agent: "and how much does your player want"? Lol

It really does bring up memories of Seth Johnson's legendary contract negotiations with Leeds.
